Position Summary GEA Group is searching for a Compressor Rebuild Mechanic to join our team in Pasadena, TX. This role involves performing tasks to rebuild and repair compressors with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Rebuild and repair compressors, performing tear down, inspection, assembly, ancillary machining, and parts cleaning. Identify basic and intermediate issues and resolve them with minimal supervisory support. Execute simple tests on compressors safely and accurately. Provide technical support to customers and service personnel. Ensure all work meets customer requirements and standards. Coach and provide expertise to resolve issues and guarantee corrective actions are implemented. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school or technical school diploma or equivalent. 5‑10 years of experience with refrigeration compressors (screw and/or piston/reciprocal). Mechanical and/or machining experience preferred. Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate compressor issues. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $30.46 – $40.62 per hour (varies by location). Final offers depend on skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related factors. Potential for discretionary bonuses and/or equity awards based on eligibility and performance.
