Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Python and Node.js
Strong Python development experience, including Django and/or Flask
Strong Node.js experience
Strong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience developing RESTful APIs
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience developing scalable server-side/back-end applications
Strong relational database experience, including PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and/or Redis
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Strong Git/version control experience
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
Strong testing and debugging skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting experience, training, military experience, and/or education

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Front-end development knowledge, including React, Angular, or Vue.js
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Docker
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, PyTest , or similar
Technical leadership or mentorship experience
