Property Manager - AMERCO Real Estate Company

Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager. In this role, you will work alongside the leasing team to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our commercial property portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. You will report to the Director of Leasing. This is a full‑time, in‑person position based in Midtown Phoenix, with business travel as required. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between the owner and tenants, managing all aspects of the rental process from advertising to eviction if necessary. Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Address tenant needs by coordinating administrative and building technical staff to resolve problems promptly. Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, contract obligations and standards. Conduct periodic property inspections. Recommend and approve property alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary. Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management. Minimum four years of experience in property management (master’s degree may be considered in lieu of experience). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Professional, clear communication skills and etiquette. Team player who works with a wide variety of staff. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize projects while maintaining attention to detail. Problem‑solver with advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
