Credentialing Specialist

Whitecap Search is seeking an experienced professional to join a growing healthcare organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with provider credentialing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will coordinate all aspects of the provider credentialing and re-credentialing process while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the provider credentialing and re-credentialing process to ensure deadlines are met.
• Research and resolve credentialing and enrollment issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate provider records and ensure all credentialing documentation is current and complete.
• Review and process provider demographic updates.
• Prepare credentialing files and documentation for Credentialing Committee review.
• Generate productivity reports and communicate credentialing updates to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of provider and organizational information.
• Stay current on credentialing standards, policies, and enrollment requirements.
• Perform additional administrative and credentialing duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of provider credentialing experience required.
• Previous health plan credentialing experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• 2 Days in office
