Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Columbia, SC, working in outpatient orthopedics. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Opportunities include working at this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Relevant outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Level classification may consider 0–3 years versus greater than 3 years of relevant outpatient experience.
Must be able to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
Must be willing to float to other clinics within the local area.
On-site approval by clinic director is required before working overtime hours.
36 hours guaranteed with expectation of working up to 40 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
Travel team experience or flexibility to work across nearby clinics preferred.
Experience working in high-productivity outpatient settings preferred.

Facility type: Outpatient orthopedic setting.
Float to other clinics within the area is required.
Option to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.
Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
Productivity expectation: ~60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day.
