Reporting directly to the Superintendent, this cabinet-level leader serves as the District's Chief Negotiator and oversees all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, staffing, labor relations, legal compliance and personnel administration. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in California public education, collective bargaining, workforce strategy and organizational leadership. Responsibilities include leading labor negotiations, advising district leaders on personnel matters, supporting recruitment and retention, ensuring legal compliance and fostering positive employee relations throughout the organization.
