Interim HealthCare of Houston has built a strong, successful home health agency with deep relationships across the Houston healthcare community. Now we are bringing that same reputation, experience, and momentum into hospice. We are looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Hospice Sales Representative who wants more than just another sales job. This is an opportunity to get in early, help grow a hospice program backed by an established home health organization, and make a real impact from the beginning.

You will be one of the faces of Interim Hospice in the Houston healthcare community. Your days will include:

• Building relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare partners
• Leveraging and expanding relationships already established through our home health organization
• Developing new referral sources and opening new accounts
• Educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about hospice services and eligibility
• Building a strong pipeline of hospice referrals throughout your territory
• Creating strategies to grow key accounts and increase referrals
• Working closely with our clinical and admissions teams to move referrals smoothly from inquiry to admission
• Identifying barriers and helping referral partners get patients the care they need
• Meeting and exceeding admission and territory growth goals
• Tracking sales activity, referrals, and account development
• Representing Interim Hospice at networking events, community events, and industry functions
• Becoming a trusted hospice resource throughout your territory

We want someone who loves being in the field, meeting people, building relationships, and creating new business. The strongest candidates will have:

• At least 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience
• Hospice or palliative care sales experience strongly preferred
• A proven ability to develop referral relationships and generate new business
• Existing Houston healthcare relationships are a major plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence walking into a new account and starting conversations
• The ability to manage a territory, identify opportunities, and follow through
• A competitive mindset and desire to win
• Genuine compassion for patients and families
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a growing team

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but experience, relationships, drive, and results matter more to us than the letters behind your name. Clinical experience is also a plus. Because this is a field-based position, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance are required.
