You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying emergency services when needed.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
