Environmental Project Manager

The Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Project Manager to join our Remediation Division. This position is responsible for estimating, overseeing hazardous materials remediation projects, managing field personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining project budgets and scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining office work with periodic visits to project sites. Experience estimating asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous materials remediation projects is preferred. The successful candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while building strong, lasting relationships with clients, field crews, and internal teams. Additional hours, regional travel, and field support may be required depending on project needs. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily field remediation operations and project activities. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage required project inventory and equipment coordination. Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other environmental and safety regulations to promote a safety-first culture. Lead project bidding efforts and assist with budgeting and post-project cost analysis. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, safety, and compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve field and project-related issues. Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and providing technical expertise for proposals and project planning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience working with hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, mold, or related contaminants. 3+ years of Project Management experience in environmental or construction industries, to include project estimating, oversight and closure. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and compliance requirements. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
