Job Description

DESCRIPTION: Standard & Poor's Financial Services LLC seeks a Software Developer who will design, develop, and deploy innovative technology solutions for Ratings products. Develop web applications and front-end applications. Design and maintain application architecture, including database schema and API design. Develop enterprise-level integrations. Deploy applications using containers and CI/CD pipelines on AWS services. Develop database applications and integrate with application services. Lead hands-on development and provide design pattern insights. Collaborate with product development team to develop scalable solutions.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT field plus five (5) years of experience in software development or a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Java, Springboot, ReactJS and micro frontend (MFE) architectures; Developing web applications using Java, Spring boot, and other open-source Java frameworks; Front End development using React/Angular and MFE architectures; Web Services (REST/SOAP) development; PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis and integration with application services; Observability, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting using Splunk and ELK; Managing microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes; Agile and Scrum methodologies; Test-driven development; CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery); Experience in the development environment, including in the integrated development environment using web & application server, GIT, Azure DevOps, unit-testing tool and defect management tools.

SALARY RANGE: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $153,005 to $170,400. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
