Culinary Cook/Expeditor/Cashier Team MemberA Culinary Cook/Expeditor/Cashier Team Member is a friendly seasonal hourly employee that safely prepares, assembles and delivers food to our Guests with exceptional Guest Service. Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure requires for each team member to have a Jefferson County food certification.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Stock and set up kitchen.Perform cooking duties and prepare food for delivery to guest by expediter or cashier.Ensure high quality and freshness.Exercise portion control and minimize food waste.Be friendly, smile, and greet Guests.Maintain a neat, well-groomed professional appearance.Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow all health department requirements.Adhere to all credit card handling procedures.Comply with all policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:Jefferson County Food Handlers Card.Must be at least 16 years of age.Must be able to speak and read English fluently.Must be proficient with basic mathematics.Must be able to work well with others and work in a team environment.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.Essential Functions:Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock weighing up to thirty pounds.Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.Ability to climb a ladder and footstool.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, humid, dry, sunny, rainy, and windy weather.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
