An established retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure delivery of exceptional patient care. This role offers either an interim or permanent contract, with an opportunity to contribute to community health and pharmacy business success.

Location:

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register and act as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage full pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial goals.
• Lead pharmacy staff by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training.
• Engage in business development within the store and community.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, potential interactions, side effects, and monitor therapy outcomes.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
• Keep pharmacy workstations and facilities clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current New York State Pharmacist License.
• Required Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
