• End Date/Duration: Permanent placement
• Shift: 20 hours/day of coverage, primarily day shifts with night call backup
• Hours/Week: Flexible, based on 20-hour shift coverage model
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience required (excluding RN experience)

What You ll Do:

• Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting with approximately 320 admissions annually
• Collaborate with neonatologists to deliver high-quality care and ensure positive patient outcomes
• Cover shifts across a 16-suite NICU, including helping with newborn nursery coverage
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and family communication
• Assist with the care of critically ill newborns, adhering to best practices and protocols
• Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering comprehensive neonatal services

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • At least 2+ years of NNP experience (not including RN background)
  • Current licensure to practice as an NNP in North Carolina
• Preferred:
  • Experience working in Level III NICU settings
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
