Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Required to work every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required for any holiday falling on a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA required), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a variety of patient acuities and presentations
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide across Ascension facilities
• Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
