Class A CDL Local Driver

Drivers on this account deliver retail freight to stores and distribution centers while handling backhaul pickups returning to the distribution center. With no-touch freight, an average of two loads plus a backhaul each day, and year-round freight demand, this position provides the stability, support, and work-life balance professional drivers are looking for.

Job Details

Home daily
Dedicated retail freight account
Deliver freight to stores and distribution centers
Average 2 loads per day plus a backhaul
No-touch freight
90% of backhauls are live loads
Consistent freight volumes
Dedicated customer operation
May assist other company accounts when needed

Equipment

Automatic day cab tractors
Modern, well-maintained equipment
Trucks must remain at the account during time off
Reliable personal transportation required for commuting

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Reliable transportation to and from work
Steel-toe boots required for training and work
Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire
Strong safety record
Professional and dependable work ethic

Special Requirements

Drivers may be required to assist on other dedicated accounts as needed
Hazmat endorsement costs reimbursed with proof of completion and receipts
Steel-toe boot reimbursement available after one year of service

Holiday Schedule

Thanksgiving: Off
