Intermodal Sales Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Intermodal Sales Representative to join our growing Road Logistics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and strengthening our position within the intermodal freight market.
You will focus on high-volume prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and generating qualified leads that convert into long-term customer relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for a "hunter" sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building pipeline and closing business.
How You Create Impact
- Drive new business development through proactive prospecting and outreach activities
- Generate and qualify high-quality leads to support sales pipeline growth
- Schedule and coordinate sales meetings with prospective clients to improve conversion rates
- Conduct high-volume cold calling and outbound engagement with target accounts
- Identify and engage key decision-makers to understand their logistics and supply chain needs
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop effective outreach and prospecting strategies
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of intermodal business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity and customer interactions
- Leverage industry knowledge to position tailored intermodal solutions to prospects
- Utilize sales tools and technologies to enhance productivity and accelerate pipeline development
- Continuously identify new target accounts and develop strategic outreach plans
- Contribute to overall revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets
- Provide market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders to refine sales approach
What We Would Like You To Bring
- 4+ years of experience in logistics, sales development, or related commercial roles
- 2+ years of intermodal (IMDL) sales experience, ideally within a freight broker or IMC environment
- Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and high-volume prospecting environments
- Strong "hunter" mindset with a track record of building pipeline and generating new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and active listening skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly
- Experience using CRM or sales acceleration tools preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
