Responsibilities Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment or system malfunctions. Contact the customer representative and ascertain equipment or system problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. These include, but are not limited to, wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge and fire pump systems. Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Must have the ability to work alone. Qualifications 7–10 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler industry performing service and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements. Overnight travel may be required. Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high‑lift equipment up to 60 ft., working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer. Preferred NICET Level II certification. Backflow certification. Compensation Hourly range: $26.44 – $39.90. The rate is based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates may receive consideration beyond the stated range.
