We are a small law practice focused on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, and estate administration. Clients are often older adults and their families, and the work we do has a meaningful impact on their lives.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, compassionate administrative professional to join our practice on a part-time basis.

This is an important role. Your work will help make sure clients receive the prompt, thoughtful service they deserve—and will allow the attorney to spend more time providing legal services, developing relationships, and growing the practice.

This is a part-time, in-office position for 15-20 hours per week. Immediate start.

Compensation:

$20 to $25 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

You will take ownership of routine administrative and client-service responsibilities, including:

• Responding to routine client inquiries and providing helpful, professional follow-up

• Contacting clients to obtain information and documents needed to move their matters forward

• Copying, scanning, filing, and organizing documents

• Maintaining accurate client and matter records

• Entering and updating information in our practice-management software

• Following established procedures for recurring administrative tasks

• Keeping track of follow-ups and making sure commitments don't fall through the cracks

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office

Qualifications:

• Comfortable with technology — you can learn and consistently use practice-management and office software

• Experience in a legal or professional office setting is preferred.
