Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are currently seeking Licensed Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for various projects in the solar installation process.Duties/Responsibilities:Complete projects within established policies and proceduresComplete projects within time frames and budgetsMaintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safetyAssemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipmentMSP Rebuilds & UpgradesResponsible for the groundwork of a solar installation which includes the connection to the MSPDiagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issuesCommunicate with customers in a professional, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your abilityDocument proper paperwork for each job completedPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to read blueprintsExtensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiringAbility to use hand tools and power toolsProficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEducation and Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredSolar or relevant experience is preferredLicensed - Completion of a formal apprenticeship and proof of valid electrician's license requiredUnlicensed - Must be enrolled in a trade apprenticeshipDriving Requirements:Must be at least 21 years oldMust have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checkPhysical Requirements:Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.Must be able to work at great heights.Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Work Environment:PV installation is done outdoors.
