Sargent Electric Company is a nationally recognized electrical contractor with deep Pittsburgh roots. We are looking to hire a talented SITE MANAGER- SOLAR to support our De Pere, WI office. The primary responsibility of this position is the successful supervision and management of construction activities, in the safest possible way, for multi-million-dollar solar projects. This position is an on-site assignment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Review and understand the terms and conditions of project contract requirements.
• Full understanding of the scope of work to be performed.
• Successfully manage project budgets, schedules, resource and workforce allocation.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors.
• Participate in project coordination meeting as required by the client.
• Make timely decisions and direction to ensure project success.
• Support and enforce all safety programs and initiatives.
• Monitor proper utilization/management of Company-Owned and rented equipment.
• Direct supervision of project site team including General Foreman, Yard Manager, Safety, QA/QC and other required site staff.
• Development and updating of all project schedules and other management reports.
• Develop site construction methods and practices.
• Support all Company training and employee development activities and provide appropriate input and feedback, as necessary.
• Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of workmanship, and that all work and materials are in compliance with project specifications and drawings.
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management team.

• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
• Utilize innovative and effective leadership techniques to maximize employee and project performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or project leadership experience successfully completing multi-million-dollar construction projects.
• Have a good working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.
