This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple leaders and up to 100 full-time/temporary workerBuild and manage a relationship with customers by maintaining regular communication and partnershipPlan, monitor, and execute staffing schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectivesManage inbound/outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracyMaintain productivity, customer service, and safety standards on a daily basisProvide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with strategic partnersPromote constant and measurable improvement; teach and enforce SCLS’ Quality Policy at all timesTrain, coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve business objectives while providing career developing opportunities; conduct performance reviewsManage revenue and expenses within budget; manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Communicate to operations’ staff in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, practices, programs, etc.Manages site continuous improvement initiatives and developing/driving a lean cultureOversight for site safety programs, compliance, and adherence to SCLS’ safety guidelines and policiesQualificationsEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field strongly preferredHigh School diploma/GED RequiredMust have at least 5-7 years of leadership experience preferably in a fulfillment operation or distribution environment; Prior supervisory experience in a fulfillment operation is preferredMust have experience with an Order Management System, Warehouse Management System, and/or Labor Management System.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to adjust strategy on the fly while functioning in a high-stress environment in order to obtain operational goalsAbility to understand the life cycle of the fulfillment business and how it pertains to each unique customerAbility to build a cohesive team that exemplifies SCLS’ values and operates to support SCLS’ mission statementStrong written and verbal communications skillsAbility to identify and understand problems, challenges, and opportunities by analyzing and comparing data to reach a proper conclusionAbility and passion to deliver excellent customer service and develop mutually benefiting relationships with all partnersAbility to influence change management and operational performance from areas outside of his/her direct controlAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set prioritiesAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Managers, Clients and general publicAbility to read, analyze, and interpret policies and contracts#LI-EP1.Benefits:Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA, and medical reimbursementAnnual bonus eligibility401(k) matchVacation and holiday payEmployee assistance and identity theft protectionCareer development and opportunity for internal promotionsTuition reimbursement for further educationCompany paid life insurance and short term disabilitySaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer, as required by law.
