Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Acute care experience BCMA Time management Interdisciplinary communication Familiarity with Cerner Description: Position requires an RN in the Medical-Surgical specialty. The role involves providing care for patients in a general medicine setting. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. The unit is equipped with Epic EMR. Professional demeanor, adaptability, and a patient-centered focus are essential. Every other weekend work is required. There are no call requirements associated with this position. Fingernails must comply with guidelines. Shoes must be close-toed with backs. The facility is known for excellence in various medical services including stroke care, cardiovascular services, and behavioral health. Candidates will function in an interdisciplinary team environment. The ability to manage patient care effectively and communicate well with team members is critical to success in this role.
