We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to join our Shelby dental team in beautiful Oceana County. About the Role The Dentist plays a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care for individuals and families, including uninsured and underserved populations. This position includes preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education to support long-term oral health. View full job description for more details. Key Responsibilities Diagnose dental diseases and create appropriate treatment plans Perform fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and dentures Deliver anesthesia and supervise nitrous oxide use as needed Educate patients on treatment plans and oral hygiene practices Collaborate with medical and behavioral health providers as part of an integrated care team Uphold infection control, PPE standards, and clinical safety protocols Qualifications Doctoral Degree (DDS or DMD) Active DEA license Two or more years of dentistry experience preferred (not required) Experience in community health preferred Bilingual English/Spanish helpful, but not required Why Join NMHSI?
