Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies and emotional resilience. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices for sustained mental well-being. \n
- Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to integrate care effectively and provide comprehensive support. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and client care practices. \n
In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and various emotional challenges. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and needs, allowing you to apply your therapeutic skills to foster recovery and growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. \n
- Demonstrated ability to empathize and maintain a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients and their life experiences. \n

- Experience in outpatient settings providing therapy to adults, children, and families. \n
