POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Custodial Supervisor provides direct supervision of all custodial personnel and daily cleaning operations within the facility. This individual ensures work is completed according to contract requirements, quality standards, and approved schedules while maintaining a safe, professional, and customer-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Direct and supervise day-to-day custodial operations.

·        Assign daily work schedules and cleaning routes.

·        Conduct routine inspections of completed work.

·        Monitor compliance with contract performance standards.

·        Train and mentor custodial staff.

·        Coordinate staffing coverage during absences and vacancies.

·        Respond to customer concerns and service requests.

·        Maintain supply inventories and equipment accountability.

·        Ensure proper use of chemicals, PPE, and cleaning equipment.

·        Document inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

·        Participate in Government inspections and quality reviews.

·        Assist with emergency response and special cleaning projects.

·        Support implementation of TeamGOV's Quality Control Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·        Three (3) years of custodial supervisory experience.

·        Experience supervising teams in commercial, institutional, or government facilities.

·        Knowledge of floor care, sanitation, disinfection, and custodial best practices.

·        Strong communication and leadership skills.

·        Ability to obtain and maintain federal building credentials.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·        Federal facility experience.

·        OSHA 10 Certification.

·        CPR/First Aid Certification.

·        Experience using computerized maintenance or service request systems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Direct supervision of:

·        Custodians

·        Day Porters

·        Floor Technicians

·        Temporary and Relief Personnel
