Project Manager - Charlotte - Hotel Projects

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hospitality construction projects throughout North Carolina. This individual will oversee all phases of construction, collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Our client is a family-owned general contractor with nearly three decades of experience delivering successful commercial construction projects across the East Coast. Known for its collaborative culture and strong relationships, the company is experiencing significant growth within the hospitality sector while maintaining a long-standing reputation in retail and commercial construction. Description Manage multiple hospitality construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements and manage subcontractor performance. Oversee project procurement, permitting, and material delivery schedules. Monitor project costs and implement strategies to maintain profitability. Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved. Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract administration. Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive repeat business opportunities. Profile A successful Charlotte Project Manager should have: Experience with managing construction projects, specifically in the hotels sector. Strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee multiple stakeholders and teams. Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
