CNC Operator

Our client located in Exton, PA is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to join their team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for moving materials, setting up machines and ensuring parts are made in a timely manner. 1st Shift hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM with overtime available $25-30/hr based on experience salary: $52,000 - $61,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Set up, operate and maintain various CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files and specifications Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and work holding based on material type and part requirements. Program CNC machines and prepare setup sheets, sequences, including machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) to ensure optimal tool life and product quality. Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications Design and machine fixtures, cutting tools and attachments as needed Cut and shape metal according to specifications Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime Train and assist operators in machine operations and part quality control Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and tools Essential functions working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 25lbs standing for 8 hours at one time Skills CNC Trimming Setting Moving Material Qualifications Years of experience: 3 years Experience level: Experienced Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
