Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable, energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment while ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage service.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout serviceDeliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficientlySupport servers and bartenders with daily operationsSet up and maintain buffet and bar areas, including ice, glassware, and suppliesStock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service itemsPrepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en placeMonitor equipment and report maintenance concernsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and service standardsRespond promptly and professionally to guest requestsAssist as needed with side work and additional assigned dutiesQualifications:Strong team player with a positive attitudePassion for hospitality and guest serviceAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and attention to detailFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust possess a valid California Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or be willing and able to obtain both upon hireAbout Hotel Nikko San FranciscoHotel Nikko San Francisco is a luxury property located just off Union Square in downtown San Francisco, with 532 guest rooms and suites, 22,000 square feet of meeting and banquet room space, and five food & beverage outlets: 24-hour Room Service, ANZU Restaurant and Lounge, Kanpai Lounge, Imperial Lounge, and Feinstein’s at the Nikko.Our culture is based on 5 Core Values: Service, Collaboration, Credibility, Achievement, and Fun.
