IT Field Technician
Is this position remote or in person? Both. Some remote work from home doing training and admin tasks, but primarily filed technician work being dispatched to customer sites.
What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? IT field technician work. Worker will be in the field answering dispatch calls (breakfix and Imac) providing general IT support to multiple customers (retailers, banks, etc). Level of support will vary depending on customer, but do expect printer, laptop, server, network, switches support, among others.
What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Skills in working with customers, technical aptitude and must have hands on field tech exp, no helpdesk.
What will the work schedule be for this position? (M-F? 8-5? Overtime? On-call?): M-F 10am-7pm (hours are subject to change) OT and OC.
How many overall years of experience should this person have? 2-5, we will train however.
Do they need any specific certifications or education? A+ certification is good to have, Lexmark certs, Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs a plus. Client Dell Lenovo also desired.
If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $20.00.
How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? varies, sometimes longer distances involved.
