Position Overview

The Lot Attendant at Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is responsible for managing vehicle releases, maintaining accurate vehicle inventory, and supporting general office operations. This role requires excellent customer service and cash-handling skills, as well as the ability to work independently and follow management instructions. The Lot Attendant serves as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Warmly greet customers at the cashier window, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; accurately records all transactions.
• Process impoundment paperwork and ensure compliance with all applicable towing and impoundment laws.
• Record customer information in the customer service database.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, climb, and demonstrate stamina.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.

Required Skills:

• Experience in data entry and customer service.
• Ability to remain effective in stressful situations and/or emergencies.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:

• $15 - $17

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (Off Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) - 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
