Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO)

Job Title
Job Summary: Provides patient transportation on BLS vehicles to and from various medical facilities. Rewarding full time position, in a team setting, assisting EMTs with patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assists the EMT partner with transfers / stretcher / equipment needs.
- Operates vehicle safely and professionally, obeying all traffic laws as well as company rules.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensures needed supplies are in place.
- Communicates with Dispatch to ensure all calls are completed timely.
- Provides a supportive environment during transportation of all patients.
- Assures gas supply is adequate in vehicle to avoid unnecessary stops.
- Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, honesty and respect.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license with clear history.
- Valid EMSVO certification
- Experience with BLS vehicles
- Good customer service skills
