Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,920 per week

Position Overview Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Atlanta, Georgia. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, night shift (10‑hour shifts). Employment Type: Travel. Role and Responsibilities Interventional Vascular Specialist II – assisting in advanced procedures (pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, FEVAR). Performing complex techniques such as wire exchanges, long wires, and over‑the‑wire balloons. Operating specialty devices (laser, Penumbra, Inari, Shockwave). Scrub, circulate, and monitor roles. Technical duties: X‑ray equipment operation & troubleshooting, radiation safety, vascular anatomy, imaging angles, and table positioning. Patient care: access site management (sheath removal, hematoma care), sterile technique maintenance, assistance in emergency and high‑risk cases. Other duties: supply management & procedural charging, precepting new staff/students, collaborating with physicians and biomedical teams. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in IR/vascular, with at least 1 year required; travel experience preferred. Certifications: ARRT‑R (VI/CV) or RCIS; BLS (AHA). Key skills: advanced procedural support, device handling, imaging optimization, sterile technique. Technical knowledge: X‑ray equipment, radiation safety, vascular anatomy, imaging angles, and table positioning. Patient‑care competence: access site management, emergency assistance, sterile technique. Other competencies: supply management, procedural charging, student precepting, team collaboration.
