Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel pipe using TIG, MIG, FCAW, and Stick/SMAW processes.
• Perform pipe welding in multiple positions, including 6G.
• Measure, cut, grind, clean, prep, and fit pipe and fittings for welding.
• Read and work from blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
• Fabricate and install piping, spools, supports, and hangers.
• Inspect completed welds and assist with X-ray/NDT and hydrostatic testing as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems.
• Follow all shipyard safety procedures and maintain required QC documentation.

Key Requirements

• 5–6 years of pipe welding experience required.
• Experience welding carbon and stainless steel pipe in an industrial, commercial, or shipyard environment.
• Proficient in TIG, MIG, FCAW, and SMAW/Stick welding.
• Must be capable of passing required weld tests, including 6G, when applicable.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and pipe isometrics.
• Skilled with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, band saws, and standard fabrication tools.
• Relevant AWS certifications may be required depending on project specifications.
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and around noise, dust, and welding fumes.
• Must follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM 
• Some Saturdays

• Contract to perm
