Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

IU Health Bloomington Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a daytime contract assignment in a well-established Nuclear Medicine department. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive weekly pay, and a balanced patient workload — ideal for both experienced and first-time travelers.

Assignment Details

• Location: IU Health Bloomington Hospital – Bloomington, Indiana
• Weekly Pay: $3,248 per week
• Start Date: June 8th or ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
• Schedule Options:
• 4x10-hour shifts (days)
• 5x8-hour shifts (days)
• Shift Times:
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or
• 7:30 AM – 5 PM
• On-Call: Required as needed

Department Overview

• 3-room Nuclear Medicine unit
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ER
• Average volume: 10–13 patients per day
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Equipment: Siemens (preferred)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• First-time travelers welcome

Required Skills

• IV starts
• PACS

Required Procedure Experience

• Cardiac studies
• Bone scans
• Liver/Spleen scans
• Lung scans
• Thyroid studies
• Tumor localization
• Myocardial studies

Preferred Procedure Experience

• Brain scans
• Renal flow
• SPECT

Certifications Required

• BLS
• NMTCB
• ARRT preferred
