Sr. Manager of Digital Merchandising Management Delray Beach, FL, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1030 Opportunity Summary: Join our PetMeds/PetCareRX (“PETS”) team as the Senior Manager of Digital Merchandising and be a driving force in our digital retail success. This role is responsible for owning the content layer of the digital experience — the messaging, content, and merchandising that drives conversion across the site, from the moment a customer arrives to the moment they purchase. The Senior Manager of Digital Merchandising brings a strong blend of commercial acumen, customer-centric thinking, and data-driven decision‑making. This leader partners closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Product, and Analytics to ensure our digital storefront reflects customer intent, seasonal priorities, and business objectives while continuously improving performance across the funnel. Key Responsibilities: Own the team's roadmap and OKRs across messaging continuity, content and merchandising, personalization, product content, onsite search and navigation, product recommendations, and SEO/AEO to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue. Translate business and marketing priorities into content and conversion strategies across the site, ensuring the team is working toward measurable conversion outcomes rather than reactive content requests. Own merchandising plans aligned to business priorities including promotions, launches, seasonal moments, and inventory strategies. Define and evolve the team's approach to personalization, working toward one‑to‑one site experiences that speak to individual customers based on who they are and what they need. Monitor and analyze site performance metrics (conversion, AOV, engagement, bounce rate, NSPAC) to inform optimization opportunities and continuous improvement. Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Product, and Analytics to align content and conversion initiatives with broader digital and growth strategies. Lead onsite execution of promotional campaigns, offers, and content in support of marketing calendars and revenue goals. Oversee SEO/AEO strategy across the site in partnership with the SEO specialist, ensuring content is built and optimized to perform in search and AI‑driven discovery. Establish scalable processes, tools, and best practices to support efficient execution and consistency across the site, including content management standards across PetMeds and White Label partner brands. Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing site content team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5–7 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, content strategy, or online retail, with at least 3 years in a leadership role — owning team prioritization and accountability for OKRs, not just managing people. Proven experience managing onsite content or merchandising for a high‑volume ecommerce business; pet, health, or regulated retail experience is a plus. Deep understanding of ecommerce content strategy, merchandising principles, customer journeys, and conversion optimization. Experience building personalization strategies that tailor the site experience to individual customer needs and behavior. Experience with onsite search, navigation, and product recommendation strategies. Strong analytical skills with experience using data and insights to drive performance improvements. Ability to lead teams and influence cross‑functional partners without direct authority. Capable of balancing long‑term content and conversion strategy with day‑to‑day execution. Strong partnership skills across Marketing, Merchandising, Product, UX, and Analytics. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Clear, confident communicator able to align stakeholders and articulate performance, priorities, and trade‑offs. Preferred: expertise in SEO/AEO strategy and execution for shop/online retail and blog/educational hybrid storefronts.
