Physicians may choose between two modern clinic locations within a short drive of the regional hospital, allowing flexibility based on preference and availability. This role features a sustainable daily pace, strong administrative support, and hospitalists who manage all inpatient admissions so you can focus fully on outpatient care. Most providers enjoy a four-day workweek with predictable clinic hours and no weekend requirements. With minimal phone-only call and robust clinical resources, this position is ideal for physicians seeking longevity, balance, and autonomy in their practice. 

Professional Highlights 

• 100% outpatient Internal Medicine caring for adults 18+ 
• Choice of two clinic locations within 10-15 minutes of the hospital 
• Flexible schedule with most providers working four days per week 
• Clinic hours 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with 32 patient contact hours + 4 admin hours 
• Average ~12 patients per day, with option to increase volume if desired 
• No inpatient responsibilities-hospitalists manage all admissions 
• No weekends required 
• Phone-only call shared among providers (~1 night every 23 days) 
• Very low call volume (typically 0-2 calls per night) 
• Nurse triage screens calls before reaching physicians 
• 1:1 provider-to-MA ratio with additional nursing support 
• Collaborative primary care network including IM, FM, Pediatrics, and Hospitalists 
• Epic EMR for efficient documentation and continuity 
• Stable, team-based environment with strong operational support
