Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Pharmacy

After this period, all applicants will be considered equally. This is a Day/Night Shift Position Primary Shift: 0700-1530 Secondary Shifts: 2100-0730, 0600-1430

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Each Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the staff pharmacists in the various functions of the Department, including dispensing and order filling responsibilities, inventory controls, and prepackaging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills Required:

1. High School Diploma (minimum) required.
2. Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
3. Must pass basic calculations competency.
4. Computer experience preferred.
5. Must pass basic Word competency.
6. Must secure a Valid National Pharmacy Technician Certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program.
