Shift Manager

Overview Families come in all shapes and sizes – that's also true of the Wendy’s family, the people you work with as a Wendy’s Shift Manager . The stuff you want – like fun people, quality food, and a paycheck – done. Responsibilities Act as a fast, friendly, and reliable presence for customers. Handle customer issues—good or bad—like a leader. Train, orient, and mentor new team members. Maintain and enforce food safety standards and procedures. Qualifications At least one year of restaurant work experience. High school diploma or GED. College or military experience welcome. Experience leading, managing, and organizing a team in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent problem‑solving, customer service, and decision‑making skills. Strong ability to give and receive direction professionally. Flexible work availability. Requirements Travel to other Wendy’s locations as needed. Stand and move for most, if not all, of your shift. Lift up to 25–50 lbs. occasionally. Work in various weather conditions (rain at drive‑thru, summer, etc.). Wear a headset, use register or grill, and follow brand standards and guidelines.
