Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Aledo, TX. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, conduct account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll, and assisting with audits, and other duties as assigned. The role also involves providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant will oversee a broad range of critical accounting functions, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, advanced technical skills, and the ability to navigate complex accounting environments. This position serves as a trusted financial partner to ownership and senior leadership. The ideal candidate has experience in government or public-sector accounting and is comfortable taking ownership of financial accuracy across multiple business areas and has the confidence and skillset to deliver financial reports.
