RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Function within the health system's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Make clinical judgments based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff including LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
• Must float to all units within skill level as required
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 1+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Active Ohio or Compact RN license required with Nursys verification
• Skills checklist current to within one year and pertinent to Emergency Room specialty required
