API Tester

Job Description Senior SDET – API Automation (RestAssured/JavaScript) Position Overview This role focuses heavily on automation, with an emphasis on API automation, automation framework development, and Agile in-sprint testing. The position is suited for an experienced SDET who can work as an individual contributor, apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and create or enhance automation frameworks. What You'll Do Perform automation-focused testing as an SDET and individual contributor. Develop and execute API automation using RestAssured and JavaScript. Create and enhance automation frameworks using strong OOPS concepts. Support Agile testing with in-sprint automation. Work with Jenkins, GitLab, NodeJS, Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence as part of the automation and testing process. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to testing activities. Utilize knowledge and awareness of AWS CloudFront, Datadog, WAF, and vulnerability testing where applicable. Required Qualifications 8–10 years of experience, majorly in Automation. Strong API Automation experience using RestAssured and JavaScript. Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, NodeJS, Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence. Good OOPS knowledge and the ability to create/enhance automation frameworks. Agile Testing experience with In-Sprint Automation. Ability to work as an SDET and individual contributor. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Awareness of AWS CloudFront, Datadog, WAF, and vulnerability testing. Knowledge of GCP. WebDriverIO UI Automation experience. Playwright automation experience. Database automation knowledge. Insurance domain knowledge.
