Registered Nurse (RN) – Occupational Health

Location: Schenectady, NY 12306
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 25 Weeks
Shift: Day | 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5×8 Hours | 40 Hours/Week
Lunch: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate: $50–$54/hr, depending on experience

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant RN experience

• Occupational Health (Occ Health) experience required

• Experience administering flu vaccinations

• Experience conducting biometric screenings

• Knowledge of primary care and preventive services

• Experience with employee health and wellness programs

• Ability to provide health coaching and employee education

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees and healthcare professionals

• Experience supporting flu clinics and workplace wellness programs

Responsibilities:

• Provide health coaching based on employees’ individual health and wellness needs

• Administer flu vaccinations during employee flu clinics

• Conduct biometric screenings and accurately document results

• Support occupational health and workplace wellness programs

• Provide preventive health education and guidance

• Apply primary care and preventive health knowledge when supporting employees

• Assist with employee health assessments and wellness initiatives

• Maintain accurate documentation of screenings, vaccinations, and employee interactions

• Communicate professionally with employees and healthcare team members

• Follow occupational health, safety, privacy, and facility policies

• Support additional employee health and wellness activities as assigned
