Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU Neonatal Intensive Care

• Administer advanced medical procedures such as intubation and central line placement
• Perform PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, and lab draws
• Conduct sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
• Utilize equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, and high-frequency oscillating ventilation

Requirements of the RN - NICU Neonatal Intensive Care

• Minimum 1-year current acute care NICU Level IV hospital experience
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Level IV NICU experience required
