About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location

Council Bluffs, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (9p–7a or 7p–7a, 10- or 12-hour shifts) | Onsite | Every other weekend required; holiday coverage optional

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies including ER, floor, portable, and patient transport assignments
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment including portable X-ray units
• Perform IV starts for contrast administration; house supervisor and ER staff available to assist with difficult sticks
• Work independently during night shifts with supervisor available by phone for assistance
• Utilize scheduling, EMR, and PACS systems to document and manage imaging workflow
• Complete department-specific orientation including daytime training followed by supervised night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (CT or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Experience operating Siemens CT equipment
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal on-site supervision

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel technologist experience
• Familiarity with Philips PACS
• Experience in a combined CT and X-ray role covering ER and floor imaging
