Locums Gastroenterology in Pennsylvania - 7 On 7 Off, High Procedure Volume

This gastroenterology role combines inpatient consults, procedures, and clinic with a structured 7 on, 7 off schedule. The setup offers consistent procedural volume with dedicated time off between blocks.

Practice & Cases

• Mix of inpatient consults, procedures, and clinic visits
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs
• Adult patient population
• No advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS required

Schedule

• 7 day blocks with 24-hour call coverage
• Weekday daytime hours plus call responsibilities
• Morning procedure blocks midweek
• Weekend rounding and consults as needed

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• ACLS and DEA required

Logistics

• Travel and lodging provided
• Rental car and mileage covered
