What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care for Neuro/Stroke populations, including post-surgical and vascular patients
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage acute neurological events, and assist with neuro surgeries
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Manage complex cases involving spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and ECMO
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation protocols
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and delegate appropriately
• Support patients through pre- and post-operative neuro interventions

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or multi-state compact
• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro/Stroke/Telemetry experience
• Proficiency in neuro assessments, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation
• BLS, NIH, and ACLS certifications

• CPI certification
• Experience with cardiac and vascular surgeries

About the Assignment This neuro/Stroke unit specializes in vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, CABG, and ECMO, providing comprehensive neurological care.
