Floater/Kitchen StaffStarting at $18 and up to $20 based on experience.Must be reliable. On the job training. Teaching experience and NSOR clearances are required. You will be working as a floater in classrooms and helping in the daycare kitchen.We have immediate opening for a floater/kitchen staff at Kiddie Academy of Wexford/Cranberry Twp. We pride ourselves on serving nutritious, wholesome meals and snacks as well as delivering meals that kids like and will eat. Basic math skills required for measuring and calculating serving portionsEssential FunctionsRequires mobility and standing on feet for extended period in the kitchen.Plans and prepares snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations.Determines meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom.Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly.Performs weekly food and supply inventory; submits list of needed items to Management.Orders food and supply items from approved supplier, within budget set by Management.Checks-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed.Ensures that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met; follows standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation and ensures that other staff in kitchen do the same.Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets and all inventory, organized and clean.Attends and participates in staff meetings, training sessions, and academy events as requested.Kiddie Academy is an Equal Opportunity employer
