Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting with a focus on neurological patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing the NIHSS scoring tool

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Neurology experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Neuro unit
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
