As a Communications Associate Director focused on Strategic Integration, you will play a central role in enabling the success of the USLI Industries and Growth Communications function. You will partner closely with senior communications and business leadership to bring structure, clarity and connectivity to a highly matrixed set of priorities, ensuring communications strategies are aligned, well-coordinated and effectively executed across industries, service lines and geographies. This role is ideal for a strong communications operator — someone who excels at connecting strategy to execution, aligning stakeholders and driving disciplined delivery across a complex environment. Your Key Responsibilities Partner with the USLI Industries and Growth Communications Leader to drive communication priorities, manage workflow and ensure consistent execution across the function Serve as a central connector across communications teams, helping align messaging, sequencing and execution to maximize clarity and impact Bring structure and discipline to communications planning, helping prioritize work based on business impact and capacity Connect efforts across industries, service lines and Growth Markets to ensure alignment, reduce duplication and maximize impact Track key communication initiatives and deliverables, proactively identifying risks, gaps and dependencies and driving follow-through to completion Develop and maintain clear views of communication priorities, progress and outcomes to support leadership decision-making Support the development of communication leadership materials, including updates, presentations and strategic messaging Lead and evolve processes, tools and governance that enable the communications function to operate efficiently and effectively Leverage data, insights and emerging technologies (including AI) to improve communications planning, execution and measurement Drive a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement across the team Coach and support team members on planning, prioritization and ways of working Skills and Attributes for Success Exceptional organizational and project management skills, applied within a communications or engagement environment Strong business acumen and the ability to connect communications activities to broader strategic objectives Proven ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior leaders, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion Highly detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and a focus on quality and execution Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and simplify complex, fast-moving environments Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across a matrixed organization Experience establishing processes, governance and operating models Comfort working behind the scenes to enable others’ success while maintaining a strong voice in shaping outcomes Interest in applying data, insights and technology to improve how teams work Ideally, you’ll also have 10–12 years of experience in communications, operations, project management or a related field Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced, complex organization Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale initiatives and drive execution across multiple stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise leadership materials Proven track record of improving processes and ways of working What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,500 to $251,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,600 to $285,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
