Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist

Job Summary

Beacon’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program provides comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of blood disorders and cancers. The oncology service actively manages 30–40 patients at any given time, while also supporting a large population of patients who are off therapy. In close collaboration with Riley Children’s Health, the program works seamlessly with a broad network of specialists to ensure access to the full spectrum of treatment options.

Work Schedule

• Physicians work in the outpatient clinic and cover an inpatient service, along with support from a strong pediatric hospitalist team.
• Call is shared equally among the physicians.

Leadership Role Opportunities

• Affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency allows for teaching of residents, medical students and supervision of post‑graduate trainees.
• The program has a strong working relationship with regional academic centers and collaborates with these centers frequently when caring for patients. It offers an opportunity to participate in limited medical student/resident education and clinical research.
